Lets see if $25 bucks was my limit back in the day for 'scalping' and a tab was $2 or $3 that would mean the guy paying $13,000 for a tic would be expected to drop about $1500 for a small square of paper.

Yeah, that makes sense.

This is yet another reason to cherish and take full advantage of this place while it is here. You think that the happy cash chasers at Rhino aren't seeing this and thinking "$13,000? Why the hell are we letting folks even listen to this stuff for free?". I'm afraid that bell may be tolling soon and it will indeed be for thee.

Well put--unless the grateful dead ever become a national park or something (I honestly hope the vault and auds eventually end up in the library of congress ), their music will be best served by private nonprofit interests. Collect and preserve.
